_GH58139-Edit-Edit copy.png

I was born in Sweden in 1965 to an italian mother and a swedish father. After completing my degree in Earth Sciences at Lund University in 1991, I pursued my passion for music and studied oboe at the Conservatories of Padova and Castelfranco-Veneto in Italy, where I received my Diploma in 1994.

Since then, I've have freelancing with several orchestras in Sweden and Denmark, including the Opera Orchestra of Malmö and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Copenhagen.

In 1999, I began teaching at the Municipal School of Music in Malmö, and since 2006 I've been a faculty member at the Academy of Music in Malmö.

Beyond my musical studies I have alsoo a degree in Earth Sciences, containing courses in geology, botany, climatology, and geomorphology at Lund University in Sweden and Padova University in Italy.

My curiosity about Arundo donax, a type of giant grass commonly used in woodwind instruments, led me to conduct a research on quality indicators for woodwind reed material at Lund University's department of Nuclear Physics and Plant Physiology from 1996 to 1999.
